Amy Hastings won the women’s elite race at The Atlanta Journal-Constitution Peachtree Road Race on Friday. She crossed the finish line in 32:18 (unofficial); the women’s record for the 10K road race is 30:32, set by Lornah Kiplagat in 2002.
Friday’s race marks the 45th running of the Peachtree Road Race. This year’s Peachtree serves as the USA Men’s and Women’s 10K Championships.
Hastings will collect $15,000 in prize money for finishing in first place.
