New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara was named the 2017 Pepsi Rookie of the Year via fan vote on NFL.com, it was announced Friday.
The former Norcross High School running back totaled rushed for 728 yards and eight touchdowns and received for 826 yards and five touchdowns during his rookie season with the Saints.
Kamara was selected in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft by the Saints after two seasons at Tennessee.
