Lions vs. Falcons: Early updates and what to expect tonight
After a long offseason, the Falcons are ready for their first exhibition game, and they’ll kick off at 7 p.m. Friday against the Lions at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
The expected starters for the regular season aren’t in the plan to play, so that means no Michael Penix Jr., no Bijan Robinson and no Drake London. Also, don’t expect to see Kirk Cousins in action.
However, watch for Falcons rookie Jalon Walker and Lions rookie Tate Ratledge, both fresh out the University of Georgia.
