Now casting: Cardi B reality series seeking extras

Belcalis Almanzar is a rapper, TV personality and social media celebrity. She said working as a stripper helped her escape poverty and domestic violence. Her debut single "Bodak Yellow" was a number-one hit. She spent two seasons on "Love & Hip Hop: New York" and was the breakout star. Cardi B is engaged to Migos rapper Offset.

MTV’s “True Life: Dying To Be Cardi B”

The docu-series is looking for people who are inspired by Cardi B. Casting directors are seeking fans who can relate to Cardi B’s life experiences, including being bullied, enduring abuse and searching for fame.

What are they looking for?

The following roles are being filled:

Cardi B impersonator: men and women aged 16-25

Exotic dancers: men and women aged 18-25

Someone in an abusive relationship: men and women aged 18-25
