Woman killed, 9 others injured in multi-vehicle crash in Clayton
Clayton County police continue to investigate what caused a multi-vehicle crash that shut down all northbound lanes of I-75 for five hours Tuesday morning and killed a 23-year-old Florida woman.
About 1:30 a.m., Clayton police responded to a 4-vehicle accident in the area of northbound I-75 and Forest Parkway, Officer Eddie Soto said in an emailed statement.
The name of the Florida woman was not immediately available pending notification to the next of kin.
Nine other people were taken to area hospitals and treated for non-life threatening injuries, Soto said.
