Lilburn police have charged a Winder man with murder in the death of a 26-year-old woman whose body was found in April in a wooded area of Gwinnett County.

Angela Rabotte's body was found April 3 near the intersection of Lilburn Industrial Way and Arcado Road by surveyors working in the area. She had last been seen in the parking lot of the Steeplechase Apartments near Norcross five days earlier.

Lilburn police Chief Bruce Headley said warrants obtained Thursday charged Charles Thomas Outlaw, 29, with malice murder, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Outlaw was already in the Gwinnett County Jail on unrelated drug charges, Headley said in an email.
