McDonald’s is partnering with the White House and redesigning its McCafé coffee cups to promote vaccination information as concern grows about getting the COVID-19 shot.

The redesign features the slogan “We Can Do This” and will be printed on an estimated 50 million cups. It also includes a website address, vaccines.gov, that includes safety information and nearby COVID vaccine appointments.

“McDonald's is excited to be doing our part for the people we serve, providing them with simple information that can help keep them safe."

The slogan was created by the Department of Health and Human Services to promote trust in the vaccine.

The promotion will last several weeks, beginning in July.

“We all want to protect ourselves and our loved ones and be together with our communities again,” Genna Gent, McDonald’s USA vice president for global public policy and government relations, said in a statement.

“McDonald’s is excited to be doing our part for the people we serve, providing them with simple information that can help keep them safe,” Gent said.

The U.S. vaccination rate has declined from its peak in the past month.

Officials are working on ways to offer new incentives to further encourage those who are hesitant to get the vaccine. More than 150 million people in the country have received at least one dose of the vaccine.
