Dec 13, 2014

A stretch of Buford Highway in Gwinnett County will be closed until Monday afternoon because of a water main break.

All northbound and southbound lanes of the highway are closed between Sugarloaf Parkway and Percival Drive, according to the Georgia Department of Transportation. Traffic is being rerouted onto Sugarloaf Parkway to Peachtree Industrial Boulevard to McGinnis Ferry Road and back to Buford Highway.

Motorists are advised to avoid traveling near the intersection and use alternate routes.
