A little before 8:45 p.m., pro-Palestinian protesters began leaving the Old College lawn at the University of Georgia, but said they would return Tuesday at 9 a.m. to protest anew.

“Whose streets, our streets, this is not a retreat,” protesters chanted as they departed on foot.

Three police officers and some university officials remained on the lawn as protesters filed out.

Here’s a full recap of the protests and arrests on UGA’s campus Monday.
