DeKalb police this week identified the three people arrested after a triple shooting that seriously injured two people and left another dead.

Anthony Edwards, 22; Jamie Fajardo, 37; and Kaila Lofton, 18, were booked Saturday on murder charges in the May 30 shooting death of Quanterrian Dunn, 23, DeKalb police spokeswoman Mekka Parish said.

About 9 p.m. Friday, authorities responded to a person shot call in the 4400 block of Cedar Park Drive and found Dunn dead in the yard, Parish said in an emailed statement. “The victim appeared to have been shot multiple times,” she said.

Around the same time, Parish said police received two more calls, one from the 2700 block of North Decatur Road and another from the 1300 block of Stone Mill Court.

A woman at the first location and a man at the second location had been shot, she said. Parish on Tuesday identified the shooting victims as Fajardo and Edwards.

“After conducting a preliminary investigation,” she said, “detectives were able to determine these three victims are all related to the same incident. The motive for the shootings appears to be robbery.”

While Edwards was released on bond Saturday, Fajardo and Lofton are still in jail, Parish said.
