Lanes cleared after overturned truck blocked I-285 exit

An overturned tractor-trailer blocked traffic Monday morning at the I-285 southbound exit to I-20 west, according to the Georgia Department of Transportation.

The exit ramp to I-20 west was closed at 11:30 a.m. and lanes didn’t reopen until shortly before 1 p.m.

Motorists traveling southbound from Cobb County toward I-20 westbound were strongly encouraged to use alternate routes.
