One southbound lane of I-85 near Fairburn has reopened following a multi-vehicle crash involving several trucks that shut down all lanes for more than an hour Friday morning.

The crash happened shortly after 8 a.m. on I-85 southbound near Senoia Road.

According to the Georgia Department of Transportation, four box trucks were among the vehicles involved in the crash.

There were no immediate reports of serious injuries.

Three of the four southbound lanes remained closed at 10 a.m., and GDOT predicted it would be another hour before all lanes reopen.
