A stray bullet during a gunfight crashed into a Church’s Chicken on Saturday night, striking a woman working in the restaurant, police said.

The employee was hit in her abdomen, taken to Grady Memorial Hospital and was stable, Atlanta police spokesman Officer Jarius Daugherty told AJC.com.

Daugherty said two people were shooting at each other near the restaurant at 200 Cleveland Avenue in southwest Atlanta when a bullet went through a window about 10:40 p.m.

Police have not identified the alleged shooters or announced any arrests.

By Monday afternoon, the restaurant was open, but a window was boarded up, Channel 2 Action News reported.
