Snow storm: Marietta schools close two hours early

Marietta schools announced Friday afternoon that schools will close two hours early due to the wintry weather.

School buses will run their normal routes, but all after-school programs and extra-curricular events are cancelled for the day.

Closing times for Marietta City Schools in Cobb County are as follows:

· Marietta High School – 12:30 p.m.

· Marietta Middle School – 12:30 p.m.

· All MCS Elementary Schools – 1:15 p.m.

· Marietta Sixth Grade Academy – 2:00 p.m.

· Marietta Center for Advanced Academics – 2:00 p.m.
