Schools in Cobb County are closing early Friday as snow begins to fall in metro Atlanta.

High schools release first, at 11:30 a.m., followed by middle schools at 12:30 p.m. and elementary schools at 1:30 p.m., the Cobb County School District said.

After school programs and all field trips and extracurricular activities for Friday and Saturday were being cancelled, including ACT tests in county schools. The tests will be rescheduled.
