Five Rockdale County students were injured when their school bus was in a crash on Interstate 20 in Atlanta Friday morning.

Westbound traffic was backed up a couple miles from the Moreland Avenue exit, where there were four school buses stopped in the road after 10 a.m.

A Rockdale County Public Schools spokeswoman, Cindy Ball, said none of the children appeared to be seriously injured but all were taken to the hospital.

Three of the buses were going to the High Museum of Art, and the fourth was sent to retrieve students from the damaged bus, Ball said.
