One of three inmates who escaped from a South Carolina detention center has been captured, Orangeburg County Sheriff Leroy Ravenell announced Monday.
Christopher Shannon Boltin, 27, was caught in Lexington County, The State of Columbia, South Carolina reported.
Boltin “will be returned to Orangeburg and put back in jail to await his court hearing,” Ravenell said in a news release. “We will now focus on the remaining two at large."
Boltin was in jail on grand theft larceny charges, WRDW reported Sunday.
The two inmates still at large are Tyshon Demontrea Johnson, 27, and Curtis Ray Green, 20. Both were in custody after being charged with murder.

The Orangeburg County Sheriff's Office said in a Facebook post that the trio escaped from the county detention center Saturday night and that all are considered dangerous.
The three inmates were identified as Tyshon Demontrea Johnson, 27, Curtis Ray Green, 20, and Christopher Shannon Boltin, 27, Sheriff Leroy Ravenell said.
Green and Johnson were in custody after being charged with murder, while Boltin was in jail on grand theft larceny charges, WRDW reported.
In a news release, Ravenell said detention center officers reported an attempted escape by multiple inmates just before 10 p.m. Saturday.
