Numerous arrests came as a result of a prostitution bust Thursday at a Smyrna Country Inn and Suites Hotel.

Smyrna police in cooperation with the Metro Atlanta Child Exploitation Task Force secured arrest warrants for seven individuals — four for misdemeanor prostitution and three for misdemeanor pimping, according to Smyrna police.

Quintin Coleman, 32, was also charged with misdemeanor driving with a suspended license in addition to the pimping charge.

Operations by the Smyrna police and the task force are conducted every couple of months, according to Smyrna police, in an effort to combat the ongoing prostitution problem in the area.

The task force, which focuses more heavily on child sex crimes, secured two additional arrest warrants by task force agents posing as minors and soliciting sex on the internet.

John Ralls, 67, was charged with a felony count of enticing a child and John Lawler, 55, who is an employee at the Youth Villages Inner Harbour Campus in Douglasville, was charged with a felony count of child molestation.

Each suspect has been given a bond.
