Two sisters decided to stage a wedding photo shoot with their sick father, just in case he doesn’t live to see the special day for himself.

Twin sisters Sarah and Becca Duncan, 23, say there are currently no wedding plans for either of them, but as their father’s Alzheimer’s syndrome worsened, they decided to stage their photos so their dad could be part of the special day.

"We knew our father may not be alive for our future wedding, so we decided to capture the poignant moment before it was lost forever," Becca told the Star-Telegram.

In July, the Texas sisters donned donated wedding gowns and posed for wedding photos with their 80-year-old dad.”It was very emotional, especially after we put on our dresses,” said Sarah.

Photographer and family friend Lindsey Rabon said it was an honor to take the photos for the family.

"I was so happy Becca and Sarah trusted me to capture this time, however fleeting, with their father," Lindsey wrote on Facebook.
