Nevada recently approved education savings accounts for all its public school students, becoming the first state in the nation to give parents tax dollars to use for a wide variety of educational programs, from private school tuition to home schooling. Would education savings accounts work for Georgia? In a pro/con package today, two education advocates square off on that question. Also, readers sound off on whether Georgia ought to amend its state constitution to allow cities to break away from county school districts and start their own school systems.
