Officials ID victim in fatal East Point crash; 1 driver in custody
Investigators have identified one driver in connection with Saturday’s fatal crash in which a man was dragged down an East Point street.
The victim was identified Monday as 70-year-old Herbert Ronald Alexander, Georgia Department of Public Safety spokeswoman Tracey Watson said in a statement.

Officials believe Alexander was hit by one car Saturday morning on Cleveland Avenue, then hit again by a second car and dragged down the street. Both cars had left the scene by the time authorities arrived.
The first car, a Ford Fusion, has been located and the driver identified, according to Watson, who did not release the name of the driver.
According to Channel 2 Action News, she turned herself in.
