The most Instagrammed spot in the state?
Not in Atlanta, unexpectedly.
According to a study conducted by busbud, a bus ticket booking company, the Atlanta Motor Speedway is the top Instagrammed location in the state of Georgia. Though it's not technically in Atlanta, it's in Hampton, Ga, about 30 miles south of Downtown Atlanta.
Three speedways made the cut in busbud’s list. Indianapolis Motor Speedway and Hall of Fame Museum and Charlotte Motor Speedway also proved to be winners for their states. Across the country, parks and state parks proved to be the most prevalent winners, followed by wineries and vineyards.
The motor speedway is home to much more than just NASCAR events. It also hosts runs, obstacle courses and fairs, among other events.
