Meeting planned on children with special needs

Gwinnett County Public Schools will host an event next week aimed at identifying and supporting children with disabilities who currently are enroll in private or home school programs. GCPS Child Find is set for 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. on June 25 at the Instructional Support Center, Building 2000, Central Gwinnett Room, 437 Old Peachtree Road in Suwanee. GCPS is required by law to locate and identify children aged from birth to 21-years-old with disabilities who are in need of special education and related services.
