Man killed in south Fulton shooting identified

Police have identified a man who died in a shooting in south Fulton County Saturday morning.

The dead man is Ronnie Donsha Young, 25. Another man who has not been identified was wounded as is being treated at Grady Memorial Hospital.

At about 5:24 a.m., a man banged on the window of a McDonald’s restaurant on Old National Highway and said he’d been shot, according to Fulton County Police Department Cpl. Kay Lester. The man said a friend inside a van had also been shot.

Lester said police have confirmed two gunshot victims. Young died and the other man was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital with gunshot wound in the arm.

Lester said the men drove to the restaurant, and the original location of the shooting is not known. Detectives are investigating.
