Youth basketball registration opens

Resident registration begins Tuesday for the Alpharetta Recreation and Parks Department’s youth basketball program. Open registration begins Aug. 29.  The cost is $100 for residents and $175 for non-residents. The program is for boys and girls age 6 to 15.

Player evaluations will be Oct. 1-2, and practices begin the week of Oct. 31. Games will be played at the Alpharetta Community Center, Wills Park Recreation Center and Crabapple Government Center.
