12-year-old stabbed over bike

A 12-year-old boy was stabbed Sunday in a fight with a friend over a bike, Channel 2 Action News is reporting.

The family of Chauntavious Terrell told Channel 2 that a 13-year-old neighbor stabbed the young boy Sunday during an argument over a bike.

“He tried to kill my brother,” Tara Terrell told Channel 2.

The teen reportedly was taken into police custody.

The boys, classmates at Best Academy in northwest Atlanta, were arguing over the bike when a fight started.

Chauntavious is expected to recover, family members told Channel 2.
