Xernona Clayton highlights GSA Black History Month celebration

The U.S. General Services Administration will host a Black History Month celebration Wednesday with a conversation with civil rights and broadcast journalism legend Xernona Clayton.

The program, which draws on the national theme, “Black Women in American Culture and History,” will also feature East Point Fire Department Chief Rosemary Roberts Cloud, the first African-American fire chief in the country.

The program, which is open to federal employees and the general public, will begin at 10 a.m.  in Richard B. Russell Federal Building, 75 Spring St.
