Woodstock offers Christmas tree recycling

Woodstock invites residents to participate in this year’s “Bring One for the Chipper” Christmas tree recycling program by dropping off trees Jan. 5 at Olde Rope Mill Park.

The tree collection will go from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the park, 690 Olde Rope Mill Park Road. Coffee, hot cocoa and tree seedlings will be given away to participants. To request free mulch: https://bit.ly/2EKdMnb

Trees will be recycled into mulch, fuel or fish habitats. Sponsors include Home Depot, 11Alive/WXIA-TV, Davey Tree Expert Co., Keep Georgia Beautiful and the Georgia Forestry Commission.
