Woman killed in multi-vehicle crash on I-85 NB in Gwinnett

A woman was killed and another person was injured early Saturday in a multi-vehicle crash on I-85 North in Gwinnett County, police said.

Three vehicles were involved in the wreck at the Boggs Road overpass near Ga. Highway 316, a Gwinnett Police spokesman said via email. A second passenger who was injured was taken to Gwinnett Medical Center in Lawrenceville. Further information about the injuries was not available.

Identities of the victims were not released. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
