A woman was killed and an infant was injured Wednesday in a two-car collision in south Fulton County, police said.
A Jeep Cherokee driven by the woman, 20, attempted to pull onto Highway 138 (Jonesboro Road) from Bethaisda Road and pulled in front of a box truck, Fulton County police spokeswoman Maureen Smith said. The child in the Jeep, about 6 months old, was flown to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston.
The two men in the truck were taken to Grady with injuries that were not life-threatening.
