There is one very happy camper somewhere in Georgia today, because there was one Powerball winning ticket sold for Wednesday's drawing. And that winning ticket was sold in Decatur, according to the Georgia Lottery website.

The jackpot for Wednesday's Powerball multi-state game had been estimated to be $25 million, or a lump sum payment of about $15 million, before taxes, if the winner chooses the cash option.

The numbers drawn were 16, 41, 42, 50 and 59, and the Power Ball was 5.

The winning ticket was sold at the Shell Food Mart at 4144 Memorial Drive, lottery spokeswoman Kimberly Starks told the AJC.

If you don't have the winning ticket, don't despair; the Powerball jackpot for the Saturday, Sept. 17, drawing is estimated at $20 million. The jackpot for Friday night's Mega Millions drawing is $65 million.

And check those old tickets, especially if they were purchased in Tallapoosa. Starks said that the holder of the June 29 jackpot-winning Powerball ticket sold at a truck stop along I-20 in the west Georgia town has still not come forward.

Lottery winners have 180 days to claim prizes, so that winner is nearly halfway through the window of opportunity to pick up a cool $77 million.
