One lucky winner took home a $50,000 $100M Cash Out lottery ticket on Aug. 15 at a Sandy Springs Chevron Food Mart.

The lucky ticket was one of at least four winning $100M Cash Out tickets claimed in the metro Atlanta area from July to October, according to data from the Georgia Lottery Corporation. The lottery provided data on prizes exceeding $600.

At least $107.8 million in prize money was claimed during that time from tickets sold at area stores.

All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs, including Georgia's HOPE Scholarship Program and Georgia's Pre-K program. See winning numbers at ajc.com/lottery.
