Two West Point police officers are being investigated for excessive force after a dashcam video shows them hitting a teenager and pulling on her hair, Channel 2 Action News is reporting.

Ciara Flemister told Channel 2 she doesn’t remember much of the incident, but the video shows two officers wrestling her onto a patrol car as she is screaming, “Don’t touch me, don’t touch me.”

The scuffle happened after Flemister, 17, started using her own camera to record the officers as they were arresting her cousin after complaints of loud music, Channel 2 said.

Flemister faces felony obstruction of an officer and battery charges for hitting an officer. Her striking the officer is  recorded on the police officer’s dashcam video.

West Point's Police Chief J.K. Cato called the force by both officers excessive.

Cato said both officers were given written counseling and ordered to undergo additional use of force training. He said he thought the discipline was fair.
