Volunteer work day Jan. 21 at George Pierce Park

Gwinnett County will sponsor a volunteer work day from 10 a.m. to noon Jan. 21 at George Pierce Park, 55 Buford Highway, Suwanee.
Volunteers will cut invasive Chinese Privet shrubs. Scouts can earn conservation badges. Those who participate in five “creeper cutter” days at local parks throughout the year or adopt a park area can earn t-shirts. For more information call 770-418-2331.
