The Fourth of July is expected to be hot and muggy this year, so what better way to cool down than by visiting a local pool?

DeKalb County is offering free admission to its public pools (except one) from noon to 6 p.m. on Thursday.

DeKalb’s pools usually cost $3 for people over 17 and $2 for youth ages 3 to 17.
