When fall semester starts Monday at the University of Georgia, freshmen will take a new seminar designed to give them more access to professors and research. First-Year Odyssey seminars are capped at 18 students and cover everything from sustainability to biotechnology to Sherlock Holmes. UGA President Michael Adams will teach about the college's history and growth. About 90 percent of freshmen enrolled in the classes for this fall. A smaller number of seminars will be offered in the spring.
