A handful of roads will be closed in Alpharetta on Thursday because of a food event in the city.
More than 60 restaurants will offer up dishes at the city's 28th annual Taste of Alpharetta event.
Milton Avenue, Old Roswell Street and Old Canton Street will close at 5 a.m. on Thursday in preparation for the festival. Resident and event parking will be allowed on a stretch of Milton Avenue, from Willis Road to the Milton Center.

All eastbound lanes of Academy Street from Park Plaza will close at 4 p.m. Thursday.
Roswell Street from Old Milton Parkway to Milton Avenue will be completely closed beginning at 8:30 a.m. Thursday.
Canton Street from School Drive to Milton Avenue will be completely closed beginning at 8:30 a.m. Thursday.
All roads will reopen by 5 a.m. Friday.
The Taste of Alpharetta runs from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday. Live music, vendors and activities are featured. For a full list of attending restaurants and information on parking, visit the city's website.
