Drivers in Johns Creek may experience delays this weekend when traveling along Brumbelow Road.

City officials say that crews will be working on the road Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and that motorists can expect delays.

Crews will be working on the sidewalk and a nearby pedestrian bridge.

Work continues on Brumbelow Road in Johns Creek, and drivers could experience delays this weekend.

This project was approved in 2017 and work began in November. Crews are building a half-mile long, 10-feet wide sidewalk and bridge along Brumbelow Road from Mackinac Drive to Stoney Ridge Drive.

The project is expected to be completed by this spring and cost $996,013.
