An Atlanta-based hip-hop producer was arrested for reckless driving in Forsyth County on Sunday.
Pierre “Pee” Thomas, the chief executive of record label Quality Control, reached speeds of up to 125 mph in a red SUV while driving on Ga. 400, police said. Thomas has produced records for rappers such as Migos, Lil Yachty, Lil Baby and Rich the Kid.
Channel 2 Action News spoke with Alpharetta police about the incident and acquired dashcam footage of Thomas, 38, being pulled over.

“That officer tried to catch up to the vehicle, but he himself got up to about 120, 125 (mph) and even then, the officer noticed the vehicle was pulling away from him,” Jason Muenzer with the Alpharetta Department of Public Safety told Channel 2. “When the officer approached the vehicle, (Thomas) acted as though he didn’t see the officer. The only excuse he had was he didn’t see the officer and he wanted to get home.”
Thomas told police that he was leaving his studio and trying to get home, according to the dashcam footage. After speeding on Ga. 400, Thomas and an Alpharetta officer eventually pulled over in Forsyth County on McFarland Parkway.

“What were you doing going that fast man?” the officer asks Thomas after pulling him over. “You were pulling away from me.”
Thomas told the officer he didn’t see his police lights and didn’t hear his sirens, according to the dashcam footage.
Police arrested Thomas and transported him to a Fulton County jail. He was later released.
Thomas’ attorney, Drew Findling, told Channel 2 that Thomas was not impaired and that he complied with officers.
