Traffic alert: Crews are fixing a gas leak near the Cobb-Cherokee line
Crews are repairing a gas leak a few miles from the Cobb-Cherokee county lines, according to authorities.
Atlanta Gas Light is working at Bells Ferry Road and Towne Lake Parkway, according to a Facebook post at 4:30 p.m. from Cherokee.
The intersection is on the southwest corner of Hobgood Park.
The post said the crews would be working until dark Friday and then back at it from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday.
While crews are there, traffic will flow through the center turn lanes on Bells Ferry. But the turn lane from Towne Lake onto northbound Bells Ferry will be closed.
