The thrift store attached to the Friends of Disabled Adults and Children, Too is holding an auction to clear out its space later this month.

The non-profit group, which provides mobility equipment for people with disabilities, must empty out its shop in preparation for a $1.5 million expansion and renovation of its facility.

Items up for auction include housewares, clothing, furniture and electronics. The auction begins at 10 a.m. Aug. 27 at the store, 4900 Lewis Road in Stone Mountain.
