Clayton County police charged three people in connection with the violent home invasion of an apparent credit card forging operation  Wednesday morning.

Ednecdia Johnson, 46, lived at the home in the 9100 block of Bettany Wood Trail, where a pair of men kicked in the front door in a robbery attempt.

Johnson was charged with possession of financial transaction forgery devices, second-degree forgery, giving false statements to police and possession of a firearm by a felon. She is being held under a $32,500 bond.

The charges stemmed from several illegal credit-card-processing workstations police found when they responded to the break-in.

Clayton County Magistrate Judge Monica Ewing said that Johnson had more than 50 forged state identification cards to be used in making fraudulent credit cards. Ewing also said that Johnson, who was convicted on felony bank fraud charges in 2004, had two firearms in the home.

Police also discovered safes, jewelry, several luxury cars and about $200,000 in cash.

Along with Johnson, 43-year-old Marcus Lively was charged with the same forgery offenses.

During the confrontation that ensued after the break-in, police say Lively was shot as was one of the intruders, Andre Shivers, 18.

Shivers was shot in the head and was charged with aggravated assault, aggravated battery and burglary. The second burglar apparently remains at large.

Lively and Shivers are in a hospital being treated for their injuries. Johnson remains in the Clayton County Jail.

The investigation is continuing, police said. Johnson's next court date is Jan. 5.
