Peachtree City police have made three arrests in connection with a home invasion in which a woman was beaten and grazed by a shotgun pellet.

Homeowner Cece Coffee sustained minor injuries in the July 13 incident at her home on Woodland Drive in Peachtree City.

The intruders entered through an unlocked door, and Coffee told Channel 2 Action News that the men believed she had a safe in her home, possibly because she owns a business.

During the commotion, Coffee fled the house and was grazed by a shotgun blast. She was able to escape, crawling through the dirt to a neighbor's house.

Peachtree City police Capt. Rosanna Dove said Tuesday that three men have been arrested in recent days and charged in the incident.

Ted Andrew Jefferson, 27, of Snellville, was arrested on Friday, and Gilbert Jefferson, 27, of Lithonia, was arrested on Monday. Both men were charged with aggravated assault, armed robbery and burglary.

On Tuesday, police arrested Christopher Falkner, 28, of Peachtree City, and charged him with conspiracy to commit armed robbery and conspiracy to commit burglary, Dove said.
