Paulding County Sheriff’s deputies have arrested one juvenile behind a string of Craigslist attacks, and are seeking the public's help in determining whether the teen had more victims.

In the past month, Deputy Ashley Henson said the juvenile male attacked and threatened at least two women who responded to an ad on the website offering “free or low-cost dogs.”

“He’s only responded to women that call him,” Henson said.

And when the women came to his Hagen Farm Subdivision home on Beranda Circle where the teen lived with his mother, Henson said “for no reason at all, he’s offering violence against them, brandishing a weapon.”

No one was hurt, and the juvenile was eventually picked up, authorities said.

But deputies are looking to see if there are more victims, or if anyone else was operating with the boy, Hensen said.

“That’s why we’re trying to get the public’s help,” he said.

The teen is currently being held at the Paulding Regional Youth Detention Center.
