Your favorite restaurants will descend on to Hillgrove High School Saturday for the 12th annual Taste of West Cobb. The event, a fundraiser for the school’s band program, is set for 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 4 at 4165 Luther Ward Road in Powder Springs.

Taste of West Cobb brings the community together to sample treats from local restaurants while helping the school’s band program thrive.

Restaurants slated to participate include Moe’s Southwest Grill, Pita Mediterranean Street Food, Smallcakes Cupcakery, Stockyard Burgers & Bones, Okinawa, Yogli Mogli and Kenny’s Great Pies. You can also expect live music and children’s activities for the youngsters.

Admission to the event is free, but master tickets are $10 each, which provides you with 10 food tickets and two free raffle tickets. Tickets on the day of the event will go for $1 each. Residents can pre-order tickets by visiting the Taste of West Cobb website.

Proceeds from the event will allow the band program pay for items not provided by the school district, including instrument repairs, new music, expenses for marching band shows and helps pay for band concerts.
