Sunny and warm this weekend

Windy and cool temperatures Thursday and Friday gave little indication, but a warming trend is expected to begin this weekend, according to Channel 2 Action News.

The forecast calls for temperatures in the upper 70s Saturday and mid-80s Sunday, and there will be plenty of sunshine with not a drop of rain in sight.

Don’t forget Mother’s Day

It's Sunday, by the way. (See gift ideas here.)

There's plenty to do to show mom you care with out spending a fortune.

If mom’s been to the zoo more than a few times, not to worry. There will be festivals galore this weekend from the Dunwoody Art Festival to the Chastain Park Arts Festival.

The Dunwoody festival will be held 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at Dunwoody Village Parkway, and the Chastain Park fest will be held 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at 4469 Stella Drive. The festivals also have Saturday hours.
