A 46-year-old man has been arrested on charges he robbed  a Tucker bank  on Tuesday and he may be the gunman who held up three other banks this month, the FBI's Atlanta office said Friday.

Patrolling Atlanta police officers spotted Frank Kendrick on Moreland Avenue Thursday night. They arrested him after they discovered he was wanted in the robbery of a Wells Fargo Bank on Mountain Industrial Boulevard.

According to the FBI, Kendrick also is suspected of robbing a Best Bank on Lawrenceville Highway  in Tucker on Monday, a Best Bank on Memorial Drive in Decatur on Feb. 7 and a Flagstar Bank on Piedmont Road in Atlanta.

In all those robberies, an armed man, apparently working alone , gave a teller a note demanding money.
