Cobb County police made an arrest Tuesday in connection with a nine-month-old fatal shooting at an apartment complex near Marietta.
Desmond Brookins, 21, was arrested during a traffic stop in Powder Springs and charged with malice murder, Cobb police Sgt. Dana Pierce said Wednesday.
Brookins is charged with the Oct. 13, 2011 death of Adrian Thomas Coleman, 25, of Marietta.
Coleman was found shot to death inside an apartment at the Lantern Ridge complex on Lantern Ridge Drive.
Brookins is being held without bond in the Cobb County jail.
