Sugar Hill has challenged Norcross “to put their skills to the test in an ultimate showdown of showmanship, creativity and fun” for a Lip Sync Battle. Both cities are asking residents and friends to submit a video of dancing and/or lip syncing. Sugar Hill residents will lip sync to the song, “Pocketful of Sunshine” by Natasha Bedingfield. Norcross residents are asked to lip sync to “Can’t Stop the Feeling” by Justin Timberlake.
Video submissions are due by 5 p.m. Friday, May 15th.
Videos should be filmed in horizontal mode and can be made by phone or webcam. Ideally, videos should include the entire song so editors can compile clips into our final video for the challenge. Large files can be sent via wetransfer.com (it’s free, and no sign up required). Sugar Hill residents send files to events@cityofsugarhill.com. Norcross submissions should go to communication@norcrossga.net.
