October 24, 2019 - Atlanta - Formerly a first grade teacher, Lisa Perrymond took over from a dance teacher that resigned and is preparing a dance for the APS state of the district event. November 7, 2019 - Atlanta - Lisa Perrymond, who took over the dance class on October 11th, dances with her students after they performed. Atlanta Public Schools Superintendent Meria Carstarphen delivered her final State of the District address at the newly renovated Harper-Archer Elementary School. The theme of this year's address was"The Epic of APS." The program also included a ribbon cutting celebrating the opening of the newly renovated school. Bob Andres / robert.andres@ajc.com
